Governor Signs Same-Sex Marriage Bill Into Law
|
AUGUSTA, Maine - Governor John Baldacci has signed LD-1020 into law.
That bill will make Maine the fifth state in the U.S. to legalize same-sex marriage.
This after the Senate gave final approval to the bill this morning by a vote of 21-13, with one abstaining.
