A look at the latest recalls issued this week.

Safety agency probes VW SUV lighting problem
U.S. safety regulators are investigating thousands of Volkswagen SUVs because the outside lights can go out unexpectedly. The probe affects 61,000 VW Tiguans from the 2009 through 2011 model years.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says 26 drivers have complained about headlights, tail lights and turn signals going dark. Many said they found an overheated and melted fuse under the hood. The agency says the fuse controls several exterior light circuits. The complaints say the problem gets worse over time.

Investigators have not yet determined if it’s bad enough to cause a recall.

Thousands of hooded sweatshirts recalled
Vans Inc. is recalling is AV Edict hooded sweatshirts for boys. The sweatshirts, sold through September at Vans stores nationwide, have a drawstring that can pose a choking or strangulation hazard. Parents should return the sweatshirts for a full refund.

Fire hazard prompts light bulb recall
Thousands of Infinity Green candelabra light bulbs are being recalled due to catching fire. The light bulbs were sold nationwide.
