WATERVILLE - The uncle of missing toddler Ayla Reynolds is accused of assault in connection with a fight in Waterville on Monday. 

Police say Lance DiPietro kicked a man in the face at a parking lot Monday around noon.  The victim of the alleged assault, Justin Linnell, is the father of Ayla's cousin. 

Police also say Ayla's father, Justin Dipietro, drove his brother to and from the parking lot.  Justin DiPietro has not been charged in this incident.
