AUGUSTA, Maine - State Representative Mark Dion says State Treasurer Bruce Poliquin is in violation of the State Constitution.
Dion says Poliquin claims his real estate development in Phippsburg is only an investment and he is not actively managing it. Poliquin claims his book keeper is managing the development. Dion says allowing a book keeper to manage a $17-million-dollar project does not pass the straight face test.
Poliquin denied any wrongdoing in an interview on the WGAN Morning News Tuesday and called the attacks against him political. Hear his interview here.
